6th Grade Science

Notes:

In 6th grade science, students are required to bring their science spiral notebook and science textbooks everyday to class. Students will be expected to hand-write notes in their science spiral notebook each day.  If a student is absent, a copy of the notes will be stapled to the absentee board and they will need to tape or write them in their notebook as soon as they have a chance.

Study Guides:

At the end of each unit, students will be given a paper copy of a study guide.  They will complete and self-check their guides and study them in order to prepare for the quiz.

Quizzes:

Students will take a quiz at the completion of each science unit.

Activities:

At the completion of each unit, the students will engage in a hands on activity that coincides with the topic of study.
